H. pylori (Helicobacter pylori) can cause chronic gastritis and peptic ulcers in humans. It is also associated with duodenal ulcers and could be involved in the development of low-grade lymphoma of mucosa and adenocarcinoma. Researchers may choose to use the H. pylori antibody to help them learn more about these diseases and how to treat/cure them where possible. It is designed to be used for research purposes and has no known clone.
The immunogen is purified Helicobacter pylori, and the isotype is the Rabbit IgG. It has no determined epitope and no molecular weight.
Applications
This antibody can be used for Immunohistochemistry (IHC). The procedure starts with preparing the specimens using Formalin-fixed or paraffin-embedded tissues. Deparaffinized slides are necessary, and you can use xylene and graded alcohols, as well as various alternatives.
When using the concentrated version of the antibody, it is necessary to dilute it using a ratio of 1:100. You can also find pre-diluted formulations to make it easier for the researchers and staff.
To retrieve the antigen, you should boil tissues sections in a 10mM Citrate buffer with a pH of 6.0, for at least 10 minutes, allowing it to cool to room temperature for 20 minutes. Likewise, incubation periods are 30 minutes at room temperature.
The positive control is any infected tissue with H. pylori, and the cellular localization is the Helicobacter pylori.
Purchase Options
In most cases, you can find pre-diluted forms of the antibody, meaning you don’t have to dilute or do anything but start using the product. You can also find 0.1 ml, 0.5 ml, and 1.0ml versions that can be diluted appropriately in-house.
