In the manufacturing of dental equipment, there are specialized parts and component that are required to provide reliable, durable and efficient operation and performance of the system.

One of the most important features in this equipment will be the vacuum canister. This component will be responsible for operating the HVE (high-volume evacuator) tools and lines as well as the saliva ejector components of the equipment.

As with any type of system, that requires a vacuum to operate, the manufacturing of each part and component from the vacuum canister through to the tips and tools used by the dentist, will need to be precision designed and crafted to provide the suction required.

Size Options

When it comes to the canister, there are two basic size considerations. The large canisters and the small canisters are designed for different equipment and models, so it will be essential to know the part number and equipment type when purchasing a replacement.

Most of the standard types of vacuum canister will offer two HVE tubing pots on the canister as well as one SE tubing port. How the ports are configured on the canister will vary, and it will be important to match a replacement canister to meet the configuration of the tubing.

Replacement Parts

Replacing the complete canister is not common, but it may be necessary to replace the gasket and seals over time. When OEMs choose a canister and supplier offering these replacement parts, it offers cost-savings for their customers over having to replace the entire unit.

The canisters themselves are typically very easy to mount using either a horizontal or a vertical bracket. This provides maximum flexibility in positioning the canister in the equipment for easy access and maintenance on the part over the life of the system.
