Bad footwear can affect your field performance. Whether you’re out on a training exercise or playing a competitive game of Airsoft, you’ll need to make sure you suit up for it just right. That includes buying the right tactical footwear. We list 3 helpful tips you should try out:

Consider the weather

Not just any footwear would do. Go for waterproof tactical boots instead. They’ll keep the moisture and water out of your feet. So even if you play in damp or cold weather, you won’t have to worry about getting cold feet. You know your feet will be just fine. Some boots also eliminate sweat so you won’t have to worry about getting sweaty between your toes.

Make sure it fits

Fit is everything. If you try to force yourself into tactical footwear that’s too tight, you could end up with blisters and corns as well as bunions, blackened toenails, ingrown ones or more. So make sure the fit is comfortable before you buy a pair. It would also help if you know your foot size accurately. Have your foot measured by a pro. Feet sizes change over time so you might need a bigger pair.

Get proper support

Airsoft Squared says your tactical boots need to be able to support your ankles. So don’t just go for any kind of boots. Assess its support capabilities. Does it have good tread for running as well as climbing? These matter too. After all, you’re going to be using those boots in rough and harsh game playing environments. You’ll want them to provide you with comfort and flexibility to allow you to move fast out in the field.

So don’t just go for any pair. Pick out the right footwear before your Airsoft games. With the right pair, you’ll enjoy the experience better.
